what will a nozzle do for me

What does going with a different size nozzle effect the ski.

Larger opening = more volume = better out of the hole

Smaller opening = more velocity = better top speed.




WITH THAT SAID.........


if you go too small, you can create so much pressure in the pump, that you will bog the engine, and in turn, loose speed. When you start to play with the nozzle, you really have to experiment... and it's never a "Night and day" difference. It's really for the racers who will tune for every race.

Thanks Dr, what about this. If I get a prop that will give me better top speed and a nozzle that will give better hole shot do I get best of both worlds or no.

I like them b/c they are longer than stock and make them turn better...IMO.

That's a nice try; but in the real world I don't think it works that way...
