what should voltage be at idle?

What should voltage at battery be at idle(3000 rpm)on trailer with flush attachment be at?Need to further diagnose battery light issue...got regulater/rectifier on the way(new) and i am hoping that it will solve my problem and hope its not my stator assembly goin bad.My battery voltage was at 12.25 volts at battery at idle and that seems low to me.

Ya it will be 12-13.
N maybe a little bit higher. U need to rev it up a few times and see if the volts are going up. Need to b around 13.5 14.5 but I think anything higher than 15 u need a new rectifier

Rectifer OR stator. I went through that last year...

It will be low... but it should still he higher than the non-running voltage. the spec is 13.5 to 14.5 volts @ 5000 RPM. (this is also assuming the battery is good)
