Here's the mod list:

Free flow exhaust
Rear intake (4 or 5" I can't remember)
Riva Top Loader
Ride plate holes filled in
OPAD paddle blocked in the up position
Solas 14-17R turning 8150-8200 with these mods

Adding a X charger and 42lb injectors. I've searched all over other forums and suggestions range from 13/18 all the way to 15/21. I don't think a 15/21 is a good idea on a RXT. Maybe a 14/19 or 15/20. What do you guys think?

Without an exIC you'll be at a 14/19...may have to tweek it up a bit...but I don't think you be ready for a 15/20....less you tweek it down a bit.

That's about what I thought too. Is there any way to take a factory impleller and re-pitch it? I have one that's chewed up but is fixable.

Sure you can have a prop re-pitched....talk to Dave at Impros. You're asking it to reach a bit though...from oem to 14/19+.

A lot easier to find a pristine 14/19R for less than $200 and tweek to suit your rpm needs.

Another all around good variable rpm mod is a nozzle with adjustable rings. Change out rings to suit the temp or other rpm requirements...all without having to constantly swap props or endless tweeking.

That's true. I found some refurbished Solas 14/19s for like $129. I'll look into that nozzle also.

Or I can have him re pitch my 14/17R

You could. I'd talk to Impros first though....with cost in mind. See...I'm confident that you'll be in the 14/19 bracket.

If it was me....and believe me I tweeked my own oem prop to +3 before going the 14/19...I'd just go with the bigger prop....then, after seeing where you are rpm wise would I decide which prop to bend and which to sell and hopefully offset some cost.....if that's what you want to do.

I think I'll just get a 14/19 and sell the 14/17. I don't plan on modding any more so if I need to I can tweak the 14/19 in either direction enough to make it work

10-4...It's what I did to my 14/19.

I thought my sht was so strong I even went 15/20....big mistake...dropped like 5-600rpm. I've been sitting on that prop for almost 2yrs now...waiting for the final pieces of the puzzle.

Keep in mind....I'm runnin a smaller wheel..an old S3 with oem injectors, oem intercooler, my diy rear air and am twisting my 14/19+2mm to 72.7 mph @ 8050 rpm. So...I'm still a 100rpm offa my limiter...but I don't know enough about tweeking props to get that 100 back w/o losing speed.
