I dont wanna pull the carbs apart again but looks like im going to have to. I it wouldnt run on the water today. Stsrted rite up off trailer then bogged down and dies when i gave it gas. Would only start and idle for a few seconds after that. Then die. Could not go for a test ride after switching out choke cable

I just changed filters in carbs and have had a fuel filter on since so the filter should have caught all that before the carbs.... can it be the filter im using? Im using one from auto zone. Clear with white mesh coffee filter lookin

Where is the water separater im going to look it up now.

Seadoo ran great like a bat out of hell for 2 tanks after rebuilding the carb.

Then carrier bearing went out and bow im having these problems after replacing.

U guys think its from the carrier bearing fix or related or is it the carbs... pop off pressure.

But why would it run perfect for 2 tanks of gas.

I just changed those fuel pickup lines. Maybe i did somthing wrong..but it was as simple as switching tubing and retightening

You use the correct tool to replace the rubber plugs that secure the plastic check valves in carbs? The low speed has check valves too. Clean them so all 3 low speed holes flow cleaner? Remove jets and clean their circuits? POP OFF NEEDS CHECKED. That is a basic part of rebuilding the carbs. OSD.com has tester for $25. It can be used for testing the fuel circuits and hull vents.
I have wrenched: Cars, plow trucks, tractors, lawn equipment, motor cycles and plumbing. These critters are a different breed. Listen to what we have to say. We have been there, done it !

Pop off is between 24 and 29 between the 2

Pretty sure i found the problem now. Hopefully.....

The needle on the mag carb was sticking. It would pop then stay open basicly until no pressure .i even had to push it back down once after popping.unlike the pto side where it would close about 5 to 10 psi after popping.

Pretty sure this could cause the problems ive been having...what u guys thinkgo

Look at your low speed little plastic check valve at opposite end from fuel pump. it can be split or be wrinkled and cause low speed load up. look at diaphragm above pop off valve side. Make sure it has no holes and seats in it's place on reassemble.

ll that is good. Just checked.

I beleive its my fault. When i put the seats in i used needle nose and scuffed up the inside of the seat. And thats what the needle is catching on....should i buy a new one or can i sand it smooth again?or will it make it worse

I would buy a new one. You sand the seat you make it bigger of an opening. If it is in the bore the needle rides in.

K seadoo ran pretty good thru a tank of gas.

But i put the throttle cable adjustment back on wrong. It will only rev to 6000 rpm. So ot wouldnt jump out of water freat but still did. And not as mich top end speed.

Then hit a wake and lanyard comes off. It would not start again i think its cuz a crap battery or mu start button is going out.... cuz i would push it and nothing. Then it would try then nothing...then it would try. But couldnt get it going again.good thing it was a 10 min swim to the dock.
