what do i have

so i need any info on my engine you could give me. heres a picture of it im not sure if you could identify it from it, but any help appreciated. its a 94 xp if that helps.

well looking at it its is different from my engine which is a 96 xp with the 787
so i would think maybe a 657 or maybe smaller

According to sbt it is a 657.

is there anything special i should know about it other then its fast?

Keep using the oil the previous owner used or you chance getting plugged oiling nozzles - mark the tank to observe the motor drinking, this hull is pretty tipsy so learn how to steer around things, my niece has the 95xp800 and when you stop it just about rolls into the water, it is great for those who ride to get wet. The older flat top motors are very reliable if left stock, I take mine over the lake the long way, when my kids were younger it towed everything imaginable including picnic tables, not super fast but they never hung out at the shopping mall to absorb the drug culture.
