What color is 1997 Gti

Okay going to look at what he says is a 1997 Gti but is purple and white I thought that 99 was purple and white 97 yellow And white

edit: the GTS was some sort of purple and white from 97-2001

97 was white and yellow with the 96/97 gtx hill

So it being purple and white what year is it the graphics are purple and yellow. I think I need to check the Vin numbers On the title and on the hull something doesn't sound right here

if you haven't seen pictures and they say its a purple and yellow 97 gti, they might be mistaken and have a 97 purple and yellow gts, which is the old 3-seater hull with a 718. if you've seen pictures and its a later style hull and says gti on it, the seller might be mistaken which year ski they have. BUT - usually when folks are mistaken on the years, they think its newer than it is, not the other way around.

Yep, mine are white body with yellow seats, handle bar cover and hood with yellow and pink graphics.

I have seen pictures it says Gti on it and it is purple and white Graphics is purple and yellow

Then it might be a 98 99 or 2000. Not sure which one but I know one of those is purple.

Here is a pic of my 1997 GTS ! Never saw a purple GTI that year. I paid $700 and I had it fixed in 1 hour. Runs great Prob one of the best I bought never gives me trouble.
