OK...

I saw 2 little girls giggling. :D

Did the problem go away? Sometimes, the junk will get passed thought the carbs, and things work.

Let me know if you are still having an issue.

"Stow your lines" OOPs, thank you, you are right I could have done that, will do that next time for safety reasons.

"2 little girls giggling" ahahaha, thats freaking funny Dr., its nice having Javier over, its hard to imagine him fishing and jet boating, funny!

Sorry about the cursing in the video.

I am still having the same issue, I asked a gentleman who has been boating for years and he told me that it could be a "timing issue" that he had that problem and he thought it was fuel related, and it came down to a timing issue?

Ok Im sorry Ive been searching and searching, but I cant find a link to where I can get the top of the cover of the carbs removed, I cant get passed the top plastic cover, then I see a metalic filter after I remove the cover, sorry for the noob question.

Thanks

1)OK... remove all the clips, to get the top cover off.
2) Remove the 6 hex head bolts holding the mesh in the filter housing
3) Under that, you will see 4 hex bolts holding the filter housing to the carbs. (remove, do not drop them into the engine)
4) Remove the throttle cable (10mm nuts), oil cable, and the choke cable. (little grub screws in the end of the shafts)
5) Remove the fuel hoses, and the pump pulse hose
6) Remove the 4 big (5mm) hex bolts holding the carbs to the manifolds.
7) stuff some paper towels into the manifold so you don't drop a screw down into the engine. (Very important)

Reinstall the opposite direction.

Get to that point, and we will continue.

Wow you guys are awesome! thank you so much Dr. Honda, and OCOD I wouldnt know what to do without you guys! this place is great.

Thanks Ill look into it..

Well I took a picture of the carbs before going any further, they dont look dirty at all, but what do you think?:

I might seem like a little "MEOW", but I am a little scared going any further.. lol.. I really dont want to mess anything up again, but ok, Ill try, I know you cant tell anything from these pictures..

It's a little more than that.
Did you see video link from sbt. It is very detailed. Things have to come apart...

I saw the video twice already, wow, seems like a lot of screws i have to remove and remember how they go back, sorry i keep posting this up, there isnt any easy way?lol

Go ahead and do it.... it's busted anyway. You can't break it ! It's not that many screws, just take pictures and pile the screws up.
YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!

The butterfly/venturi section almost never looks dirty on a jetski carb. The problem is internal.

If you don't want to open them up... then you need to pay someone to fix them, and water test it after they are done.

Thank you Dr., you know I am probably going to get enough nerve to get in there.. Im not sure if I should do it now, since Im leaving to Laughlin tonight. I probably can tackle this when I come back? How long do you think this is going to take me since its the first time I do this?

not that long.
Once airclearner box is out of the way its two allen head screws holding carb to intake and the cables going to pump and throttle.
1-2 hrs with some of this :cuss:

This thread was before I joined SDF. Does anyone know how it turned out?
