I know that some need the neoprene gasket to mount the pump to the unit but on the ‘96 and ‘97 GTX diagrams there isn’t one listed. Are they really necessary on these and got left off the diagram? I’ve removed quite a few and occasionally I see where someone has added it. It is also an option on the OSD website when searching for wear rings.
