Hi all. Newbie owner. Bought a 96 GTI. So far so good. Runs well. How do you know when/if you need to replace wear rings, impeller, or any of the propulsion parts? I got very little info from the person I purchased this unit from.

If the rpm goes up to full speed but the ski doesn't move or accelerate well then the wear ring or impeller are damaged. Feels just like a slipping clutch.
