Wateroutlet line material

What should the 1/4 and 5/16 clear water outlet lines be made of? I know they can get exposed to heat when close to engine. What is recommended?
Is clear plumbing line from Lowes or Home Depot ok or should it be of a gas line variety from a auto parts house. NAPA,Auto Zone, Advance,etc.
Any help appreciated.Thanks, RP

I believe any good grade of vinyl clear hose should be sufficient, but don't use this for fuel or oil.
