Water leaking from bellows

I think you might have to pull the pump and shaft to get to the bottom of this, you should not have that much room to install the clip. GriZ?
 
i would almost bet you, there is another groove, and when you pry it back to it, install c clip, you will be solved

take a couple of small blocks of like 2x4, stack in on pto, with another long piece and pry it back, cause lookin at ypour picture, your stainless collar is to close to the pto

Not sure about the bumpers. It takes a bit of pressure to pull the stainless piece back but I thought that far back I would see another groove.
 
its actuall sorta pain in the ass to get stainless collar all the way back, thats why i said to cut zip ties, and take rear clamp all the way off, you'll see, cause picture of your collar is way to close to the pt
o
 
You could always remove the clip and slide the stainless ring forward and the carbon seal backwards to see if there is another groove further to the rear.
 
lol, this is the ski that you put a wear ring in, right ??? now, without putting c clip in, can u grab the driveshaft and move it in toward the pto and out toward the pump ??? if you can move it back and forth, and my guess is since its leaking at carbone seal, is that the rubber driveshaft bumper in front is missing, and actually the drive shaft is forward right now, and the other groove your looking for is covered up with the pto boot, cause its slid inside the pto too far right now .....
cause here is a pic of your driveshaft -- bet the groove your lookin for is under that rear clamp on your pto boot

I'm thinking that too but I didn't remove the drive shaft when I did the wear ring.

It ran fine for a day or so...
 
cut rear clamp off the pto boot, and see if that groove is right there under it, if so, you know where the 3rd groove is -- you gotta let some grease out anyways, i just use tiestraps instead of them fancy clamps you use

If I'm able to find the other grooves, can I put the c clip there and reclamp the pto boot and be good? If i can move the shaft back?
 
you need the bumper to keep driveshaft out to seal the carbone seal, that would be like 1/4 inch of (not bieng tightness) lol, new grammer - 3/8 of inch almost

well, i didn't take the driveshaft off so i don't know why it would be missing but i guess it could be worn out...

Guess it's time to take the shaft out and inspect. Thanks for all your guys help. Dosen't seem to be a tuff job to do.
