Water leak

[FULL-THROTTLE]

Hello Y'all

I just installed a sbt engine in my 98 18' challenger, on the 3rd day out i have a serious water leak at the driveshaft, apparently the driveshaft seal where it goes thru the hull is leaking. Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts of the cause. I am going to pull the propulsion system off tomorrow and see whats up.
There goes my Labor day weekend of tubing and skiing.

yah Fran, take gander at carbon ring assy, then if ok, lap down the steel collar it rides against, maybethe accordian boot wasn't adjusted properly. You can loosen clamp on thruhull area, and push accordian boot toward motor, to seet the carbon more firmly...:cheers:
