water leak drive shaft

hey guys, i took out the doo and ran well till it almost sunk. i noticed water leaking in from the end of the rubber hose( left side, no clamp) that covers drive shaft. should it have a clamp, sealant or combo of both. pic is attached. also those assembly look right? just bought xp and dont know if previous owner worked on shaft

Just install a SS clamp and you will be good.
