bought a battery today installed it...motor would not even turn over...took the spark plugs out lone and behold it turned over but i got water sprayed all over me ...is this ski dead where it sets? 96 gtx sedooo

It's hard to say, you say it turned over with the spark plugs removed, that's a good sign. Try to get all the water out that you can, then pour some Marvel Mystery Oil in both cylinders, let sit at least overnight, the longer the better. Turn it over by hand, at the flywheel PTO, hopefully it will free up. If you can get it started take it to the lake and run it for at least 1/2 hour to get all the water out.

A couple of questions, is this the first time you have started the ski this year? Did you winterize the ski? Did you turn the hose on before you started the ski?

Ya the big question will be how long did the water set and how much. Ur bearings could be toast. But it could also b great. The 2 strokes are pretty forgiving.
