i purchased a 2000 sea doo challenger(dual engine) Was wondering if i could get som insight on the water drain inside the boat. Seems like the water drains from inside the boat thru a tube to the back of the boat and out somekind of manual ball valve. There is a black housing with a ball inside to block water. Does this have a life expectany or does it need to be lubed somewhat?
My problem is sometime it seems like the ball gets stuck when sitting and fills the boat up a inch or two. when I take off it all goes out. It seems it is sticking somewhat. Any help , ill take thanks:cheers:

It is called a scupper valve. Basically a ball check type valve. Can be replaced under 20 bucks. yours is bad. FYI, post your questions in the trouble shooting section under boats.
