What do you guys do to better seal a starter you rebuilt? I'm wondering if the Positive connection post can be a source of a leak. Seeing as how the starters are very near the bottom of the ski and are very succeptable to moisture ingestion sealing the stater is a concern of mine. I have a friend that just won't listen. I keep telling him to do everything possible to keep the interior of the hull dry. How far do you guys go when sealing the starter?

Best move is to replace the "O" rings with new ones,,,and there is a tiny one on the positive in terminal,,,some people put a light coating of silicone on the positive terminal orifice under the black spacer,,do not put any on the threaded terminal or you will prevent conductivity through the terminal to the brushes.
