Water getting into my seadoo gtx 4tec 2002

Hi I have a seadoo gtx 4tec 2002 I have had a new rear pump , drive shaft , wear ring and carbon washers ,
We took it out Saturday on the sea got a mile off shore and started to take in water half way up the engine do anyone have an clue were it is getting in to

I would say carbon seal is leaking could be due to a number of reasons . Maybe you forgot to tighten bilge plugs

Having all those parts put in at one times gives you about 5 places of concern.

Put the plugs in and leave it tied to the trailer. Back it down and look for water coming in. If none, start it and look for water.

It could be the CS or a bad pump install and pinched a seal.

Did you connect your cooling return correctly?

Thanks for your replys the pump was done by a jetski garage I took it back to them today there was water in the engine and they needed to get it out
