Anybody parting out a 97 seadoo challenger single or a 97 seadoo sportster single, I'm looking for a ride plate, I'm dead in the water right now. Does anyone know what I can do they don't make this part anymore. Part # 204 120 019 or 204 120 002.

You may try shooting a PM to Minnetonka4me or his brother 99spxxx.... They are the go to guys here for used parts.

Post a pic of what it looks like, I think it looks like a regular ski style but tapered on the back half???? Perhaps you could get one from a ski, but the speedo paddle wheel would be on the wrong side and you might have to cut it? I also assume this is for a single engine Challenger by the part#? You could also get one from say a 95 XP800 that doesn't have the speedo provision, I think there are other ones without the speedo too. This is all a long shot since I have no idea is the angles are even the same between the skis and single engine boats. I have seen on searchtempest.com (cragislist search engine) guys parting these boats. So do a search for seadoo jetboat set your zip and do a 3,000 mile search and look through EVERY jet boat ad, I want to say I have seen 2 part outs in NC?

Hell, contact IDoSeaDoo he's building a 4tec powered 97 Challenger and perhaps he'll sell his old ride shoe since he's not using it.

You are right, that ride plate from a spx looks really close. I pm'd idoseadoo, thanx for all your help!!

Post several pics of yours. I have one off a 95XP that I can measure but I don't want to waste the time if it doesn't even look close. Take good clean pics and post them, please. The one big problem I see right off the bat is the one from a ski has a notch in the front got the intake grate to bolt to, something a jet boat does not have since it has a weedless intake grate.

The problem is that it is in 10 pieces, who even sealed the shoe last used way to much silicone and way to strong of silicone. Looking at the parts diagram, they look very similar. It just looks like the one one the boat tapers in the back.
