Want to add a left mirror on my 98 speedster

Question I have is my boat came stock with just a right side mirror. I would like to add a left side mirror and was wondering are the mirrors that came on this boat universal? I know the boat didn't come with a left side mirror but looking at the the location it attaches to it looks like it may work on either side? Any help would be great.

Left and right are different. I have a green left mirror from a 96 GTX (it looks exactly like yours). You can paint it black.

I just looked at the mirror for a 96 GTX and I don't think they will work. my mirror has a round mounting point and the GTX is oval
