Hi All
I have a 2004 sportster with a factory tower on it. The four mounts which this tower is attached to has a push button for quick release of the tower for removing it. My problem is the front two mounts were really stiff to push in, I actually had to tap them in using a hammer and punch. I was able toget it to release the tower but the button will not return to the locked position, I have lubricated it with tri flo but it did not work. Are there any suggetions to getting this button released. I do not want to damage it anymore. Any help would be much appreciated.
