Wake Jumping

I've fallen in love with jumping my speedster over the wakes of other boats. Besides the obvious is their anything I should be concerned about? How do these boats hold up in terms of a little jumping abuse? This afternoon I spent like 20 minutes following a larger boat jumping into his wake, just want to make sure i'm not going to kill my boat.

Thats what it's all about!...Man, if you saw some of the air these boats get in the Gulf of Mexico or on the Atlantic/Pacific coast, hitting swells 3 to 5 feet high, ........you'd think your question moot.

The Seadoo boats are meant for this type fun. It's not abuse. Though I might say a knob or switch might fall off from all the bouncing around. Watch where you put your anchor, ....it might damage the hull.......:cheers:

I get some serious air from my 200 speedster too. Just remember to back off the throttle after lift off to keep the rpm's under control when the boat grabs water again. It has a rev limiter, but the sudden jolt of water in the pump will add some major torque on the jet pump.

Hmmm...I have done this on the XP for years, but never thought of doing it with the challenger. THAT will make the wife scream :hurray::hurray::hurray:
