Vts 1993 - 1994

I have recently brought a SeaDoo XP 650 1994 model as a project to clean up and use.

This is my first ski and know nothing about them at all

The last owner said that the VTS has been disconnected because its not working, I'm not sure what the VTS actually does, if anyone can explained.

Can the ski be used without this and wont do any damage to anything else.

I have been offered a fully working VTS but it's of a 1993 model, will it be ok to fit to my 1994 model, are they the same.

Welcome to the seadoo forum Bry. The VTS (Variable Trim System) adjusts the nozzle on the jet pump. I'm not sure it the 2 years are interchangeable. Compare them side by side to see.

I contacted the guy and he said the VTS its off a 1993 model 5852

The model number of his VTS 278000358

The problem is the ski is at my fathers 200 miles from where i live and he dont have time to take it off.

Has anyone got a parts manual for the SeaDoo XP 650 1994 that could check the model number of the VTS for me.
