VTS gauge

How useful is it to have the VTS gauge working?

Never ridden a ski with VTS yet, and my project 96 XP I'm doing, the VTS gauge doesn't work.
Looking at redoing/replacing the gauges and looking for feedback if the VTS gauge is very helpful when riding or if it's forgotten about most of the time.

I don't do tricks so I don't even care if the VTS works. You don't ride the ski by looking at the gauge but it is handy to have. I think the gauge is handy for identifying the high and low limit and Mid-Point. Get the VTS working and perhaps the gauge will respond. Worry about the gauge last. Good Luck !!

Thank you very much for the reply. Have a donor ski which has working VTS, and the gauge even works. Was happy to find that out, but was thinking if I'd rather try and reconfigure the gauges as I don't think the multifunction gauge works either, so I might lose that gauge and just setup with a fuel gauge, the trim gauge and either a tachometer or gps speedometer.
