Value of 02 GTX

I have a friend selling his 2002 CD GTX Limited. It has about 90 hours on it. Just wondering what its worth and if it is a good machine. It has only seen freshwater. Thanks in advance.

I picked up 2 '02 GTX 4-techs last summer in AZ (fresh water skis). There were dealer serviced and only had 43 hrs on them. I paid $8700 for the pair w/ the trailer, vests, gas jugs, etc.... The trailer looked brand new. As with anything, value depends on how well it was maintained and if it needs service or repairs. You may want to check out the NADA guide to get a baseline for what it's worth.

My friend just picked up a 02 GTX/DI last month for $3200 with trailer and cover with 130hrs. Not a 4 tec but it gives you an idea.

I bought a 96GTI a few years ago. I paid $2000.00 and I knew at the time it was over the market value. The reason, I knew the ski and I knew the owner. He bought the ski new and it was meticulously maintained. I thought is was a bargain then and after owning the ski for several years, I still consider it a bargain. It's the most reliable ski I have ever owned. So price is not always the most important factor.
