Utopia Battery Problem

Hey yall, I have an 2004 Utopia with the 250 Merc. I have 2 batteries on it. I have an issue now because the motor turns on battery 1 but does not turn on battery 2. Battery 1 is the battery we put on after. Battery 2 is the facotry battery. when i switch the perko switch to battery 2, it does not even turn over but everythin else works such as the blower, bilge, horn, radio etc. any idea why this might be happeneing.?

Welcome to the seadoo forum boeing... How old are the batteries? Are the connections tight? Are the terminals corroded? When the engine is running is the battery in question receiving a charge? If not then it could be the Isolator that is bad. The isolator allows both batteries to charge at the same time. Give these connections a check and if it is receiving a charge we'll go into it further for a way to resolve your problem.
