In your case I have no idea who has passed this regulation, Fed., State, or Local, if it were me I would write to the representative(s) that have passed and are going to regulate and enforce this ban. Maybe there's a loop hole or a grandfather clause.
Good Luck

its only on carb'ed 2 strokes, so throw some di/rfi decals on you ski, warm your ski up on land, don't pre mix and hope they don't make you open your seat.
Did you read the link? It states that the ranger can open and look at your engine... ummm... not a good sign
yes, and is the state going to spend the time/ resources to either hunt down and hire rangers who know the differance between carbed and efi and/or train the rangers to know all about all the different ski models and how to tell the diffreance between them?
Well, I guess it depends on the lake, I go to Puddingstone Lake and they send people away for any little thing, believe me once I wasnt let in like 2 times, 1st they said that there was no pressure on the Fire Extinguisher and 2nd when I came back that I didnt have a "Throwable Personal Floating Device" (not a life vest, a TPFD), I was like wow...
One time I drove all the way to Crystal Lake (1 hour away), to be told that I was being "quarantined" for a week, because there was like 1/10th of an inch of water in my engine bay, it rained 3 days earlier, nope they didnt care.. so I guess maybe in some part of towns, here they are extremely pickY about every little thing, so now they have one more thing to be picky about
