Trustworthy seadoo repair in Tampabay area?
I live in St.Petersburg but would travel. Problem with 96' spx that I just cant figure out and now willing to pay an expert. I have done a lot of repairs to fix this issue but it still remains.
Runs excellent at mid-high rpm but lower rpms she shakes/vibrates(sounds like an engine with bad timing). I rebuilt the carbs 2x with pop off guage. changed plugs. snipped and rescrewed the plug wires. changed fuel. changed filters.compression good. could be vacuum issue I guess but I dont have the tools for more advanced testing. I did not check timing yet(never got to that).
How hard is timing/vacuum to check on the spx?
I would still like some good mechanic recommendations though.
