Hey guys,

I have to re-carpet my trailer bunks on a double-ski trailer. They actually don't have anything on them, looks like previous owner replaced the wood, but didn't carpet them(idiot..). So my bunks are currently dead vertical, with no slant. I commonly see many trailers that have a slight slant on the bunks. Is it bad to be straight up and down?

Also, do you guys prefer to glue or staple your carpet? I was thinking of stapling the carpet on.

Both. Coat the face of the wood with contact cement. Fold over... and staple to the bottom with stainless staples.

Your bunks should be at an angle with as much surface area on the hull as possible.
