Recently I had to limp back to the marina with solely one engine due to a ski line on the starboard drive shaft. I kept the speed below 15 mph and the boat is running great, but I want to take precautions next time.

Will this hose pincher work on the exhaust manifold water outlet line? I can't find anywhere the size of that line to confirm. The part listed in the manual is over 30$ and I would need 2 for towing and it seems like a lot for a line pincher. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Bought the Bombardier Hose Pincher

I dropped $39 on the SeaDoo hose pincher and it appears to me that a large set of channel locks would work as well or better, it is not a very complex solution that the dealer is selling. It also was very different from the older pictures of their clamp. The hose in my engine compartment had a green mark where you should apply the clamp before towing.

Alternative, tow under 15mph.

hi guys just wondering which line to clamp if towing a 1995 speedster. and how to identify it and where to put it?

cheers.
