Towing and Cleaning

I have tried searching for others asking these questions with no real luck. With a 2002 GTX-DI what do I need to do to tow it from the front? Would pressure washing the engine and inside the jetski damage anything? Thank for your help.

If you want to tow it at any kind of speed. You'll need to clamp the hose that comes from the pump. I have a 4-tec and pressure wash my engine all the time. Then coat it with fluid film.

Thank you for your help, I'm new to jetski's which hose comes from the pump and what's fluid film? Could I purchase that from a seadoo dealer or order?

Your best bet is to download the owners manual. Many places free online. They all tell you exactly what to do for your ski. fluid film is something like WD40. They sell other stuff to do it. Just a light oily film spray.

I forgot to ask if you use a cleaner before you pressure wash?

If you run in salt water, you need the coating. If you are in fresh water, you don't.
