Towing a 4-tec

My friend ran out gas today and he towed his ski behind his pontoon at 10 kph (6 mph) or so. Being an owner of a 2-stroke I was wondering if the same rule applies to a 4-tec. Model is RXT-260 TC.

Yep, same rule applies... you need to pinch or block the hose from the impeller housing to the exhaust. The manual states that without the hose blocked you should stay well below the maximum 24 kph so if he was only going 10 kph I suspect he should be fine.
