I took the boat out saturday for the first time in 2 years! Things have been busy, and time has just gotten away! I will say it ran great with no problems, even after sitting all this time. I just topped off the tank with new fuel.

I am now pondering selling it, just because I have not really used it. Its an 07 Speedster 150 215hp with tower and has 8 hours. The 10 hour service has already been completed by the dealer. It has been garaged since the day I bought it and is in near mint shape.

What do you think a fair price would be if I decided to sell it?

Sorry to sound so stupid, but is that a 4-stroke engine?

My folks are moving to Yuma and looking for a 4-stroke boat.

If 4-stroke, and you figure out a decent price, let me know.

Yup, its a 4 stroke. In really good shape. I went out to the lake with some of the guys from my truck club. They had a blast and loved the boat. It was alot of fun, but it just seems like I don't get to enjoy it enough. I was kinda worried because I had let it sit for so long, but it ran great.

You can start with the NADA guide value: http://www.nadaguides.com

If the boat is in really nice shape, take the average retail value and add to that, maybe $1-2K. Keep in mind, though, you don't check off options that came standard on your model--they are already factored into that price.

Nada is a good place to start... but the economy SUX right now. Also, SeaDoo is still trying to clear out old, new stock on boats. I can get a NEW '08 for $14999 with a 255 engine, at the local dealer.

So the question is... how fast do you want to sell it? $10k, it would go fast. Book price, you may sit on it for a while.
