Any suggestions for an adhesive to re stick parts of foot pads that have come unglued and sticking up? My automotive experience Jumps immediately to "3M (babyshit yellow) Weatherstrip Adhesive", just wondering if there's a better (AKA more expensive) marine product that'll give better results.

The 3M black weatherstrip adhesive comes to mind.... FWIW, I'm one of those guys who hates seeing silicone (whale snot) on any boat.

No experience with the black version, but I'll research it. Silicon makes a suitable sealant (in proper applications) but not much worth a damn for an adhesive.

Agreed re: application, except for the silicone, lol, I'm serious about that one. Teflon tape makes me cringe a little, too.

Agree. Just 2 comments:
1. You apply this to both surafces, let is dry for 15 min and then stick them together - no room for misalignment - once it's stuck, it's stuck!
2. It yellows horribly with age, so try not to get any where it is visible.
