I was messing around with my fusebox, struggling to pull old fuses to inspect and replace with new and had a devil of a time pulling them with the cheap plastic tong-type fuse pullers that come with fuse kits.

Finally got them all out, inspected, and replaced if needed... even added spares that were missing.

I went to replace the cover and, looking at it, wondered which end went up. That's when I realized that it has a built in fuse puller on the end. That works perfectly.

Good observation but it isn't on all models, just the ones with the integrated MPEM.s

given that most boats use circuit breakers - because you can't change a fuse you don't have in the middle of the lake. I'm surprised to find fuses on these.

There’s a few spares in there.

Had to change one on my friends 97 XP last summer at the lake last summer when he connected the battery backwards. He got lucky and just blew a fuse and if I remember correctly there were two or three spares on that model.
