OK - Ive kinda asked this question before - but got no one who answered. Is it possible to replace the steering wheel in my 150 and make it so its tilt - like in the larger Seadoos?

Everything is possible!

Welcome, you probably got no answers because even though it's possible, its just not feasible.

The expense you'll incur in doing this mod would probably set you back a few thousand bucks. You can modify just about anything you want, if you got the money. If they made a steering assembly for your model as an option, then it would probably be a lot cheaper. But, to do this for your boat, they would have to build it. The ones used in the larger boats, probably (and I don't know this for certain) use a lot more space behind the panel, to bolt up to the sterring assembly.

I'm sorry I can't give something positive and send you a link to someone who has this for sale so you could just bolt it up, but I just haven't heard of this being done in the 150......

Dear Mr. Snipe :D
Thanks for letting me know the pros and cons... at least i know - if i ever won the lottery.... well.... no - i guess i wouldnt be replacing the steering wheel. Id be buyin a BIGGER DOO!
But seriously - im married to a guy who has well, a tummy - and has problems sitting behind the wheel comfortably. We went to a boat show, and with the tilt available in the 23 footer... he had no problem getting behind the wheel.

Guess its time he went on a diet... The bigger boat just isnt an option this year. Thanks so much for your valuable imput.

What about replacing the ladder?

Is it easy to replace the one step ladder with a two step or telescopic?
