I have just bought a 95 speedster - Love this boat!! But I have a couple small problems I need some help with -

1. The port throttle lever needs 1/3 before it will stay put - lever falls back to idle if set lower. What wear parts are still available to tighten this up. In the parts area I see throttle parts start 1997 will they fit my 1995?

2. Is there supposed to be a spacer washer on each side of the lever pivot point mine only has them on 1 side of each lever.

3. On the back of the boat -- Is the little plastic steering linkage bushing that sits on the end of the linkage cable where it connects to the jet nozzle still available I don't see a part number for those anywhere?

Thanks for any info! Bob

The controls are made by Teleflex... so any of the parts are still available.

If you lift out your control levers... you can adjust the drag to hold the lever in place.

As far as the pump part you are asking about... can you post a pic? I'm not exactly sure what you are asking about.

Here's a shot of it --- A plastic bushing that sits in the tab on the nozzle - they need to be replaced to tighten up the steering:)

The bushing is a hardware store part. It's just a split bushing.

OK... I don't know if you took it off... but there should be a washer, and nut on the bottom. I would imagine that it would be very sloppy feeling without it.
