Three Drain Plugs, One Was Never There...

Hi All,

I noticed today that there are three drain plugs in the rear of the 2015 Sea Doo GTS 130. Two go to the main innards and one to a hose of some sort. The one to the hose is missing and I actually suspect it hasn't been there to begin with...

Could anyone tell me what that drain plug is for and if this is a necessary item? (Why would the dealer not include it?) I have ridden it a handful of times now without it. What happens when you ride without the plug, what could happen if you ride without the main drain plugs? (Not planning to try that, but just curious so I can understand better the workings of my watercraft.)

Bonus question: I've been reading that new Sea Doo's come with a tool set, I searched everywhere for that! Is it in a strange place like under the engine or something? Or did my dealer forget to include it?

Thank you!

That's the exhaust cooling port used to run the ski out of water. It should be open. Do not put a plug in it!!!

The two main plugs have check valve balls in them, so they don't really let in water in like they used to if you leave the plugs out anyway so nothing really happens.

No more tool kits included. There is a safety kit that can be purchased separately that fits in the front storage bin strap, but there's no tools in it.

yip, don't plug that !

look for the toolbox (bag) about the size of a pair of socks, under a rubber strap under the rear seat.

2nd place to look for tools, under front storage bin (should be removable) there are little compartments tucked in the side where you might also find the fire extinguisher (in a generally useless place).

I only know this because saturday we were trying to fix my dam hood shock for the third time and had the storage bin out and I said, "well dam, there's the fire extinguisher!"
