Avoid Watercraft Services near the lake Houston Marina. These guys ripped me off. I have a 98 GTI and took it to them in March because some bolts broke on my Manifold/Tune pipe connection. I rode it twice after the repair and on the second ride i was taking on water again. I decided to do it myself today. First thing i noticed was they didnt reconnect the rubber gromet and bult. the retapped on of the bolt holes to a M10 x20mm (this depth include the tune pipe sitting on top of the manifold)but they stuck a M10x30mm in the new hole. the hexhead wouldnt bolt down all the way because the bore hole wasnt deep enough so the hex head is 16 of an inch above the washer at it tightest.

They Phucked me out of 200 bucks. I tried calling them and left many messages on their voice mail and have not had a call back. This is Watercraft Services on lake Houston

annoy the crap out em until they cave and admit resposibility, got any legal/lawyer friends? ask em to knock you a quick draft letter up..

alot easier in the UK mention trading standards and usually cowboys get all flustered and either rectify or refund
