First of all my apologies if this has been covered already. My folks are thinking about looking at a 2007 seadoo gti that's an ex rental with 300 hours. Now I've got a bit of experience getting a rat bagged GSX tip top but the 4 strokes and a decade newer makes this a little out of my league.

Is there anything I should be concerned with when looking at those hours? I'll do the usual wear ring impeller check and it sounds like the guy currently has it in the water so a test ride shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys

The first thing you need to have examined is your head for even thinking of buying a ex rental. You'll be sorry.

Normally I'd run as fast as I could, but considering the fact that they were maintained by a local shop, they have a lot more maintenance done than one sitting on a lift all year and used the odd weekend in the summer. I'm going into it skeptical not eyes closed everything's peachy keen.

I've found most seadoo issues are blatantly apparent when you investigate them fully. It's harder to hide faults in a seadoo versus a rental car.
