What is the right size bimini top for my 95 sportster, we had the boat out for the first time over the weekend and she said I need to buy her a top, she is letting me spend money on the boat  anyone have a idea?

I have a local canvas company custom make one that fits like a glove. It was like $200.00 cheaper than the factory on also. Use the yellow pages and get some prices from a local company.

I have a boat store closing near me and the bimini tops are 60% off so if they have the right size i can get it cheap, I just dont know what size. If they dont have it I will go to a shop and get one made

The problem is… how do you intend to mount it?

I bought a top a few months ago, and I was originally going to mount it to the top flat between the armrest, and the controls. (96 Sportster) After some reconsideration… I wanted to mount it on the outside of the hull, down by the bumper rail. (like the OEM top) The top I bought was a 73” to 80” wide unit, and it is JUST wide enough to work since the tube frame is soft enough to flex over a wide width range. If I was to buy a second top… I would have probably bought one that was closer to 82” wide for a better fit. But like I said… it’s where you want to mount it.

BTW… Mine is 6 ‘ long, and 48” tall. Those dimensions seem to be close to the older OEM top, and I got it from a company on eBay for $120 shipped.

Im going to mount it on the outside of the hull by the rail, thanks for the dimensions, thats a good price do you know the name of the company?

Does this mean it is 48" tall from the mounting point to the top of the support bar when put up?

Yes. At first I thought it was too tall… but it gives you room to crawl up from the swim deck.

I'll dig in my eBay account to find the guy. The only drawback is he only has Burgundy, gray, and blue.

bimini pics

Looks like his shipping went up a little, but it's still reasonable. This one is $140 shipped.

If it wasn't raining... I would post up a pic.

They are very good quality, and they come with all the mounting hardware for a top mount, and a storage boot.

Dr Honda, can you post some pics of your boat with this bimini on it? I'd like to see how it looks and roughly how you mounted it. Thanks in advance!

GMI out of Canada

I just ordered one for my 05 speedster from these guys. They have the OEM templates that Seadoo uses. They use Sunbrella fabric.

If you order it fromJJ Powersports in DEL you'll get it for $100 cheaper than direct and not pay shipping if you can pickup from them.
$425 out the door

Your boat is smaller so it would be cheaper
