Hi everyone, I was checking out a c180 today, a basic 2009 model. The front is of course open with like 3 small seats there. How easy is it to swamp this boat? It looks like if the boat digs into a wave it'll swamp pretty easy. What do you think? I seen a small builge pump in the engine compartment, but I assume this compartment is separated from the area of the boat that would get swamped?
Thanks

no worries about swamping it unless you get in 6ft + waves!!! There are floor drains and the floor compartment drains back into the engine compartment were the bilge pump sits. I do suggest though if your looking at a challenger get the 255hp engine over the 215hp.

Thanks for the info, I hope to avoid 6ft'ers!! Not sure if the 255hp is an option cause I'm buying used...not many for sale around here...

The bow of the challenger 180 sits very low, and you will get wet with even small waves. BUT its no big deal really as long as the person sitting there doesn't mind.
