We purchased October 09 a 05 RXT that had 66 hours... Since launching in spring and using weekly and taking on vacations it now has 125 hours.. I have heard the superchargers need a rebuild around 100 hours,, Is this normal,, our bike runns and rides fine however I am not looking to cause trouble by letting a service or maintance item go and forgetting to make a repair..

Is 100 hours a recommended rebuild for supercharger ??

For an 05, I would say so. IIRC, it has ceramic washers. You want to change to the steel washers.

If it hasn't been done already... stop riding it, and rebuild the supercharger!!!!!

The clutch washers are ceramic. They are known to shatter when they give up. The ceramic is very hard, and it will destroy the engine, when they shatter, drop into the oil, and get sucked into the oil pump.

In this case... being lazy with a rebuild, could cost you a $4000 engine. (probably more than the ski is worth) This one isn't like doing an oil change late... this could be catastrophic.
