supercharger blew on my 05 rxt, Help!

bought a 2005 rxt at the end of last season and it had a few more issues than we were hoping for. previous owner managed to grind down the propeller in the supercharger as well as the silver housing that holds the propeller. Im just going to buy a whole new supercharger, used, and was wondering if the ones on gtx's would work on the rxt? i see different numbers of teeth on gears and what not and want to make sure i buy the right thing. any help would be appreciated!

i think you just need to get one from an engine/ski that has the same HP as yours. if you get a used one it will need rebuilt before you put it in unless you are buying one that has been rebuilt already with current oem kit. your engine will likely need to be pulled, cleaned out, and inspected for damage if the supercharger is blown.

I would be more concerned about where the broken parts are.

The SC's are basically the same once you change the gear.

I bought the newer beefed up OEM for both 04 RXP and 05 RXT. 200 hr rebuild time and brand new. That is what you should do if you can. Third more the price but double the time to rebuild.

Any 185 or 215 supercharger will work for you. You just need the proper rebuild kit, 420881102. Also, we can do the rebuild for you with our supercharger rebuild service if you're interested, and use the proper gear for your application.
