I just bought two new 08 GTX's 215's, after looking over a few threads i'm starting to wonder if the supercharged is even worth it.. I looked over the site at seadoo and I see specs, but the overall question that pops into my head is what is the performance difference. I'm taking my new skis out in the morrning what kind of top end speed can I expect and what would have been the top end speed of the gtx 155 ?

The 215 will top out at 70mph by gps, the on board indicator will show about 73, on every ski I've own they always indicate faster, I think is on purpose and at that speed it will be burning 18gph of fuel, and you only have a 16 gal. tank.

The 155 will go 55 to 60 and burn about 12gph at WOT.

The only advantaged of the suppercharger, I see, is it will jump out of the hole quicker and of course go a little faster on top end.

If I had it to do over again and was only going to use the ski for crusing, I would get the 155hp one.

70 mph?....

I believe they will both do 70 mph. But, like you said, the only difference is the supercharged will get you there faster.

If I were buying one, no....for the extra cost and maintenance, I can't justify having it.
