hfgreg I know you talk of these often, hoping you will have some input.

I just pulled my 2009 RXT-X 255 Super Charger

Sending it out for a rebuild. For those that have done so, did you upgrade anything on it? Such as the wheel for example. And if so, why?

My ski is stock and runs fantastic, so I am not looking at adding injectors and what not.

I have and will add a top-loader grate a slightly upgraded impeller. I bought them 4 years ago and have yet to install them,,

But now I am going over my ski very well front to back. Nuts. bolts, hoses, ect ect. So good as time as any to put the goodies on.

Let me know,,,,,

If you're looking to upgrade an x-charger, the go-to wheel is the Engine Tech ET137x4. It'll provide a notable increase in performance. I wouldn't recommend this unless you've done the impeller, intake grate, air intake, etc basic mods. It requires 48lb injectors, which you may have. We do have these in stock, so as soon as yours comes in we can do the rebuild with the larger wheel.

You will have to check and adjust the slip more often with this wheel. The recommended is every 25 hours.

If you're looking for just straight reliability, stay with the stock setup. It's no fuss, just rebuild every 100hr/2years.

You have answered my question exactly as to what I wanted to know. My RXT runs great, just wondered if adding a wheel was a viable option and keep the engine mostly stock.. Guess not...

I have the SC off, will send it in later this week. It looks to be in great shape, Could not get it to slip with my fingers at all. If I shake it back and forth there is little in/out movement. I have 74 hours on it, but I am out side of the age requirement for sure..

Thanks for getting back to me.. appreciate it..

While I have you, I will need/want two new filters, oil, cold air intake, spark plugs, and an oil removal took, (bucket with pump). Do we have that stuff through our site?
