Stuck hub

I've got a hub rusted on and can't remove. I want to cut all brake lines and remove brake drums to get rid of surge brakes. All lines are rusted anyway, and they don't work. Also will put fixed bolts in tongue to prevent surge jolt when pulling. Any advice
on breaking this thing free? Been banging on it w/hammer but no go.

I'm sure I'll replace bearings also once I can access. It's the Karavan A-60 unit that came w/most of these boats.

I use a port-a-power gear puller on them, and it just blows the bearings apart. Then I either heat the races, and slide them off... or I drill them, and crack them with a chisel. (They slide right off after that) when they are rusted, and stubborn... bring out the power tools. Otherwise, you could beat on them forever.

Put the tyre back on.Heat up the hub and tow the trailer forward about 2 foot.(with the tyre on the ground)It very often frees up the hub so you can get it off.

Thanks for info guys. Need to get new bearings anyway. What size bearing buddies fit into the 5 lug seadoo trailers w/surge brakes?

It could be 1.98 Dr. Honda.
Got everything off and there's no #'s on bearings or races, but I did make out 'China' on bearing. It's the galvanized model SB-2031 Karavan. The hubs have a 2" outer ID and 2.5"
inner ID...that's why I'm thinking you're right. If nobody knows for sure I'll see if I can look up Karavan co. and get specs from them. The ID of the bearing looks to be 1 5/8". Got most of the old brakes and lines out today.

If you have the 2" outer bearing... you will probably need the 2.047". If you have a set of calipers... just measure the grease cap.

Ended up calling Karavan office and they gave me the info. Couldn't even read the #'s on bearings, but got them out and got new ones in w/bearing buddies installed. Simple insurance and definitely worth the work. Certain hubs take the larger 68111 races, as mine did, so make sure and check because most use the 68110's. Look at naming on hub for reference.
