stripped starter bolt (top) please help

It seems the top starter bolt on my 95 XP is stripped, does anybody have any
ideas on what to do about this, anything would help at this point, helicoil ?
drill and tap ?? not sure the best way to go about this. not easy to reach
for this kind of work.

I would try one of those easy outs.... get the kit with a bunch of different sizes. you can get them at any automotive stores. this is assuming you can get it in there. Starters alone are a pain to remove/install. :cheers:

I would try a helicoil, it's a tough spot to get at.
