In the process of replacing the steering cable alls going well except the nut on the back end under the jet anyone have an idea on how to get this nut off do I have to remove the whole jet assembly?

if its the same the boat steering cable nut, then i used a tube spanner, some use a crow foot (my boat the crow foot wouldn't fit in the gap).
yeah take the reverse gate off. not sure how much room you have on a ski. do a search for steering cable, you should find it.

Cheers Pete all sorted now, they sure don't give much room to get to the nut without removing the jet but we managed, another tool to add to my list. question for ya though what is a crow foot?
Where abouts in AU are you? Adelaide here the city of road works.

i'm up near brisbane and gold coast!!
i ended up buying a set of tube spanners, best thing i did! used them on the boat and motor bike....
now i'm used to getting the pump off, that's best way to get clear access and reduce the skin off the knuckles syndrome!! lol
all the best
