I finally got around to pulling out the storage compartment and noticed that the two cables attached from the carbs to the steering on my 1997 Speedster are not attached at all. I have no idea why they were removed but I'm wondering it they are worth the effort to repair? With independent throttle levers I figure I can always use them to add additional port or starboard thrust when needed. Or am I missing something here?

I have a single engine Challenger, and had this feature. It was rather helpful around the docks, despite the fact that I could never seem to get it configured just right so that it would activate the throttle the same on both sides. It was helpful none the less. It has since torn, and I am planning to repair it somehow...
