Stator Issue

I picked a boat up from a buddy he had stored at a shop. The owner said he was supposedly "selling and storing" for him. Long story short, the fly wheel was off and seemed as the stator was switched. There was no spark so I tested it and sure enough it's bad. (Basically, he stole the old one and put a bad one on in its place to try and cover it up.) Now, I need to order a new one but dont want to trust the part number on the stator in case it's the wrong one.

So my question is, would anyone know the part number for the stator for a 2001 mercury 210 hp m2 v6 jet drive?

Boats.net is the best place to look up a part number. It will give you a parts explosion based on the serial number.
